The Adobe is playing Shobefest on September 21st at the Earthrine farm in Carpinteria. For those of you who have never been, bring the usual folk festival gear: lawn chairs, food & drink, warm clothing, etc. The music runs from noon to 10ish. The Adobe is scheduled to start around 9.

To get there, take 101 south, get off at Highway 150, and turn toward the mountains. Go for two miles, and then turn left on Gobernador Canyon Road. Go for a mile, and you'll start to see cars. Park anywhere you can. Carpool if you can, as parking is always an issue. Be careful not to block any driveways, leave any trash, or anything else that might annoy the neighbors of the Earthrine farm. It's a beautiful spot for a music festival, and it only takes one incident to jeopardize the situation.

The admission price is, as always, free, but PLEASE bring money to buy a t-shirt. The festival is a perennial money loser for Shobe, and t-shirt sales are his only way to defray the costs.
